UAB „VILNIAUS TRANZITAS“ was established in 1994 in the territory of former warehouses and transport depot. Since 2000 "VILNIAUS TRANZITAS" belongs to the one of the largest Lithuanian logistics, transport and warehousing group of companies AD REM.
Services provided:
Starting in 2000 with 2500 m2 of covered warehouses and only a few employees at its inauguration, today „VILNIAUS TRANZITAS“ maintains 37 000 m2 of indoor warehousing in Vilnius and employs over 170 employees. The terminal territory covers 6,5 hectares: modern and well-equipped with modern handling equipment bonded warehouses and warehouses with special temperature conditions, the largest import and export terminal in Lithuania with own railway siding, distributional warehouses, special warehouses for dangerous cargo (oils, chemical materials). There are also open workspaces for the storage of goods at the territoty of the terminal. Professional team of customs brokers ensures prompt and efficient execution of all customs procedures.
New, modern handling equipment: pin-type scales and weighbridges, vehicle and railway ramps and other facilities enable to maintain non-standard, oversized and heavy cargos efficiently.
Company’s Logistics and Transit Centre maintains the transportation fleet, consisting of different vehicle types and sizes, enabling promptly and safely to collect, transport and distribute cargos all over the Baltic States.
